Goxo - 021

Here's a new little sketch, which I called "Errect" and it's a direct response to all the amazing spam mail I get...it's normally not entirely pleasurable to deal with the annoyance, but this kind of gives it some purpose.
But to give it even more purpose I couldn't resist playing with our ZBtoy (Taronite's - Zborn Toy) for adobe's after effects, which is now approaching release state...hopefully within just a few weeks now. Although it's actually much more a 3d (2.5d) rendering tool, it's too freaky to play with 2d images in it! And although that really makes most sense to do with photographs it actually is a whole lot of fun doing it with funny sketches as well...here are a bunch of goof-arounds:
Harmless ZBtoying around

Wicked ZBtoying around

They are all scaled down to fit a few images on one screen, but in their original size they took roughly between 1 and 3 seconds per image. The ones that took the longest were computing refractions and caustix together with a shadow casting point light and environmental illumination. So all in all it's really a realtime rendering tool and the only real challenge that comes with it is to STOP PLAYING AROUND! I need to continue programming, otherwise the infamous Philipp is going to be angry with me!!!

All the above is of course absolutely nothing in terms of demonstrating the tool, but just a whole bunch of fun for me right now as I am getting ready to eat something... ...uh...that crazy good smell....my sweety is creating another masterpiece for lunch!!! =)
