Doubt and fresh air

I believe, the most hopeful thinker has both conviction and doubt. After all, doubt is part of what gets us to wonder. To deny the existence of doubt is the same denial one would accuse another of having, when it comes to science or religion. It should never be destructive or limiting, this doubt, but it's no crime to experience it or reason to dwell in confusion. It's a great help to revisit one's ideas or revelations, refine it all, find strength or realize that strength is not stubbornness, but the ability to openly experience the world of our senses as well as the content it offers to inspire our thoughts.
It should always be a sincere experience to understand. As such it should always remind us of the humility it requires to be sincere and that it doesn't elevate us above anyone, who thinks differently, but offers us a distinct awareness towards the sincerity of others or a lack thereof, if that's the case.
I personally qualify the opinion of somebody else by its authenticity. Does this person simply seek comfort in an offered explanation, adhering to suggestions of others as opposed to deducing by himself. This is not an easy task, actually, but I see a hint, when people become particularly aggressive in defending a specific point of view. When they openly- or not- attack another opinion as opposed to offering their own, for example, or even chose to attack the other person with labels or other inappropriate humiliations. And as soon as you speak clearly for either side, religion or science, you enter into our greatest spiritual conflict and confusion.

In my eyes, it's only our lack of understanding that makes a distinction between the original meaning of religion and science. For all the right reasons they have always gone hand in hand. Only when people started to use religion or science to justify aggressive actions, be it territorial or by imposition of their own system of society, both paradigms become questionable and the truth behind them loses relevance in discussions.

I'm firmly convinced that those devices are used against people and against life itself in our world today and probably for the longest time already. The moment we elevated association to a source of power, forming nations and claiming superiority, claiming rights and enforcing submission of their subjects, we've provided reason to deny doubt and denial itself. Because recognizing any of those would endanger the fragile structure of the deceitful empires.

Invite doubt again and take it in as a breeze of fresh air, because it teaches you about all the reasons to recognize humility as a device to connect and respect each other, regardless as to where we come from. We have no means to claim certainty over any of our observations, because we receive it all from our specific place within existence, even if we believe to have penetrated into other layers of it, our deduction itself takes place upon our slither in the spectrum of infinity.

Thank you Brother, for contributing to understanding the truth. I am very grateful for your ability to set aside preconcieved notions and search.. not just accepting that which is presented before you. Your courage in this has set me on the path too, so.. Blessings my Brother,
